The 2005 -2007 4.0 mustangs use a bellhousing to mount a tremec (t5)...does anybody know if you can use this for swapping a t5 into a ranger? Does it matter if your 4.0 is ohv or ohc?

ya it matters if its a OHV or SOHC, I believe theres one more bolt on the SOHC. Why exactly do you want to swap a T-5 in?

Actually wasn't the T-5 a dead issue around 10 years ago in mustangs?

I believe the Mustangs switched to the T-45 which has a non removable bellhousing.

I could be wrong though...
