just wondering if anyone out there is running 33's on a second gen bronco or ranger with only 2 inches of lift, whether there is fender trimming or not.
i was just curious to see what this would look like...

I have 33's on offset 15x8 with a 3" BL. I had to do alittle triming just on the very bottom inside lip, nothing major.

i can rub 33's with 8" front coils, 6" rear springs+2" shackles, no trimming.

33x12.5 on 15x8 rims with 3.75" BS.

just under a full turn or what, that just seems a bit strange to me...

bumps and jumps mostly--rear of front fenders is the most affected spot (4" extended bump stops in front), i also spaced the radius arms forward with .5" of washers to help with the situation. i also rub a bit on the bed too when flexing (stock bump stops rear), and of course i rub on the skyjacker radius arms when turning. i never rub front fenders from flexing alone, the front springs are way too stiff for that, but the weight of my ext cab does compress the springs enough to rub when i hit something fast or drop off a rock.

i extended my steering stops maybe 3/8", and increased the bolt size, and i snapped 2 grade 8's, so i cant extend them much/do much about that except not turn that much, but its really hard not to cut it as much as possible when ur trying to wheel a ext cab in the woods, esp. with an auto-locker(not as bad as people say though).

i rubbed in the front a ton, daily driving with 6" coils on my ext. cab., just turning into my driveway--theres a small dip, it would cause rubbing.. tore up a set of 33s pretty bad on the fender, but since the 8" coils and the spacing of the rad arms, things have been much better. pretty much with everything on my truck, i am always told on here that i am more the exception than the rule.

i have 35s with a 3 inch body lift and about 3 inches cut out around the fenders.... i suspect you will have to do something of that nature... maybe like 2 inches out of the fenders...

with that inset you rub the rad arms pretty bad.enough to limit turning radius.

this is pretty close to what your talking about-

33x12.5's and 3" lift with about 1" trimmed from fender-http://www.therangerstation.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17118
33x14's and 3" lift with about 3-4"s trimmed.
http://www.therangerstation.com/forums/showthread.php?t=19822

jim oaks started a sort of tire fitment thread where we all post the tire size and lift of our trucks, and a pic.should be good info.can't remember what its called but probably in the show off forum
