I'm looking at buying a 1990 Ranger with a Carbureted 302 already swapped in it, but I wanted to know how easy would it be to use that ranger as a donor vehicle for my 87 Bronco II that I want to put a 302 in?

Except for driveshafts it should be mostly plug and play

I moved you to the V8 swap forum.

I would think as long long as both are either 2WD or 4WD... it should be a fairly simple swap aside from altering drive shafts.

If you don't have time to do it right will you have time to do it over?
If the Ranger is a 4x4 so you can swap the transmission and maybe transfer case it should be doable. The Bronco II transmission won't live long behind a V8. I saw a 2wd Bronco II once, it had a dummy transfer case so Ford could use the same mounts and rear drive shaft, a 2wd Ranger is not the same.

hey guys. I'm new to the page, and was trying to figure if a 1997 Explorer 302 would fit in my '01 Ranger without to much trouble?

There is lots of information documented in the Tech Library on this swap.

It's probably the best place to start do a V8 swap.
