302 dead spot need help!

it doesnt just stink it burns your lungs and eyes lol
and it doesnt have any get up and go just a LOT of noise

I had a problem like this. I had a 302 from the junkyard and wired the plugs with the 302 firing order, it would run but acted like yours. Someone told me about ho engines with a 351 firing order and when I rewired the plugs with the 351 firing order no more problems. I was a chevy fan then and knew next to nothing about small block Fords.

yea i dont think it was a h.o but either way it cant hurt to try it
