Allright so i have a 302 im putting into my 65 stang. I have it out to rebuild and need to put it on an engine stand and just need to know what size bolt goes into where tranny mounts up so i can put it on a stand.

um... actually they are 7/16 coarse. You put 3/8 in and your gonna have an engine on the floor.

Lol are we settled on 7/16 coarse then? I really want it in the engine bay, not the floor lol.

yes 7/16 coarse, I uncovered the rest of the motor on one engine stand and it was the chevy motor, the ford motor is 7/16" coarse.

No, all Ford pushrod V8's used the same size bellhousing bolt---7/16" NC. Just make sure the bolts reach in nearly to the bottom
