3.8sc tranny ????

Will the tranny from a 3.8 stang bolt up to a 3.8 sc motor or is their a difrence in bellhousing

they are interchangeable but you have to use the flywheel from the sc engine as they are balanced differently.

Dont use hte 3.8 tranny, its only t-45 and weak. Your best bet is to find a good t-5 or another 6 spd variation. Again it will need a bellhousing swap. Few other minor changes, but very well worth the time and money spent.

NOPE! The 5spd. in the V-6 mustangs IS the t-5. Infact all 1994-2010 v6 stangs use the t-5 however the 4.6L v8 stangs did use the t-45. And I will agree.. the t-45 has "issues" FYI the 05 and newer stang t-5 uses a slave cyl. insted of a cable clutch system. I am using a T-5 from 1997 3.8L mustang in my V-8 ranger. Just had to add the 5.0 bellhousing and hyd. slave.
