First of all, Does anyone have a good one from hub to hub?

I remember Jim did it on his ranger, But I was kind of confused. I have drop brackets and understand I will need bumpstops or a new bracket.

How easy is this to do? Does it just bolt in place of the D28 with my new grade 8 hardware I just replaced lol?

Does anyone have a step by step swap?

I have one. $100 and it's yours. It's missing the brake rotors, and will need new calipers and pads, but otherwise complete. I even have radius arms, steering, etc.

If you have the drop BRACKET, you don't need any more lift pieces. However if you have the drop PLATE then it won't work well with the D35. Everything else just bolts in. You may or may not need to shorten your front drive shaft. It really is just a matter of removing the D28 and bolting the D35 in.

Ok thanks guys! PM sent Shran

I just recently got in an incident and I just want to get rid of my D28 and I think a D35 swap would be around the same price as repairing the 28.

I have a drop plate for the cross-member, but would it weaken it too much if I grind out the corner for clearance?

The radius arm crossmember isn't important - it'll be fine with whatever you have. It's the drop bracket or plate you have on the passenger side beam that is the issue. If your suspension compresses enough and you have the plate version, it can knock a hole in the 3rd member.
