Just looking for information as of right now.
What i know thus far;
Ford makes a stand alone harness for use with 5 speed/mechanical auto
Quick time makes a bell housing(i believe that they would make a custom one for the ranger)
M5od- hd would probably be best for the power.
I believe that a 5.0 or SOHC 4.0 radiator would be sufficient to cool the beast.
3"body lift will probablybe required

What can anyone tell me beyond this or correct if im mistaken

Depending on use the M5 may not be ideal and the bell housing is not removable.

Evidently the ecoboost 3.5 shares/ uses the 3.5 duratec block if thats true a ranger 3.o shares that bell housing correct?

88-08 F-150's used the M5ODR2.

Biggest problem with them (aside from the bellhousing ordeal) is they are too much of a truck trans for racing and too much of a car trans for heavy towing with ample power.

No idea, keep in mind you will be running much more power than the designers of the 3.0 Ranger transmission dreamed it would ever see.
