I have a 99 Ranger XLT I just bought. The whole top end has been rebuilt because of overheating. The problem is intermittent. Hot or cold it still happens. The engine will start just fine but if you try to give it gas it acts like it's starving for fuel. When you do get it to rev up, there's a random small exhaust pop. There are no codes showing. Every sensor under the hood has been changed. Fuel pump pressure at all times is 55 psi and steady. When it's not acting up, it will run like it should. Going crazy here. Any ideas?

I suppose you changed or cleaned the MAF sensor? If you changed it, do you have the old MAF you could put back in? The new parts now have a high failure rate right out of the box. That is what's scary with your situation, you changed all the sensors.

Yes it was changed and the old one was retried after but no difference. Every sensor has been changed one after the other and it made no difference. At this point I'm thinking maybe fuel injector voltage is fluctuating or ECU is bad.
