I have a 1995 4x4 ranger that has cracked heads or block. I found a good 3.0 out of a 1995 Areostar that i can buy cheap but it has a distributor and my truck has coil pack ignition. My question is will the Aerostar motor work and if so what i have to do to swap it to coil pack ignition?. Im thinking I would have to put my cam position sensor and possible crank sensor on it and i most likely would change all the sensors just to be safe. Any help is needed and greatly appreciated.

Get the long block from the aerostar, and use all sensors, can sensor from your 95 for the other 3.0. may want to check oil pan between the 2, there may be differences, maybe not. Check all that.
