Hello I am attempting to install AC in my 2007 ranger sport. It did not come with factory AC. I have a 2000 3.0 as a potential donor car. I would like to remove the ac system from this vehicle intact and install directly into my 2007. I have some questions about this job. they are
1) will i need a new wiring harness? i cannot find the location of the connection for the compressor or other devices on my current harness. I assume ill need the relay and switches from the donor car.
2) will i likely need to replace any components?
3) what are common problems related to this job?
4) can i do this without discharging the system?
thank you for any help. I cant go one more Virginia summer without AC.
