89 B2 w/ 4.0 and D35 from a 1992 Explorer. Will I need to get a different wiring harness? We followed the write up on the tech articles for a D28-D35. Only difference was it was a 2WD truck.

1994 and earlier used speedometer cable and VSS on transmission so nothing wiring wise on rear axle.

My credo
it is easier to fix and understand than "her"
unless your using the electric shift case, its pretty straight forward.

hooking up the t case lights etc requires a few pieces iirc, but most of the wiring is rpo in the harness.

then you have to look for the wiring in the truck, get the switching and the brain and the t case piesce...usually the wiring is in the truck
