2100 Motorcraft on 2.3

I have ran the same set up for better than 10 yrs know, 500cfm 2100, rd. port intake, on roller FI head. Runs insane, tore through lots of stock motors. the rollor is by far the best. I have rebuilt the carb 2 times, and time to do it again, The Question I have is, Does any one run the 2100 and already down sized the jets. Im only considering this because gas obviously still gunna go to the moon, and I would like to get back in the 20ish mpg range. curious if it will even help it...

I have #46 jets in my 2.8 v-6 I suppose it depends on the venturi size I have 1.08 venturi in my 2150 is basically the same carb as yours. You just dont want it too lean on the upper end or you can burn valves and pistons. I`m guessing your way over size on the cfm for the engine and if you want economy you may need to down size the venturi along with the jet size I have seen 1.01 venturi 2150s I am guessing yours is 1.21 for a 5.0 302 or bigger your displacement is only around half of that.

Something like this would probably work with #44 or #46 jets but I will never buy a carb off ebay again unless the seller pulls the top off and the venturi cluster out. I bought two carbs from ebay and both were not rebuildable either corrosion or the throttle shaft was flopping around
