I just bought my ranger a little over a week now and loving it. I do have a question about the taillights. Can I change the taillights to the XLT/Lariat LED without any issues. Thanks.

I haven’t seen one with the traditional light bulb housings to say yes or no. The connections could be the same. Just different housings and a LED compatible blinker relay installed is a possibility.

Do you have deep pockets? They are a little over $1,000... each.

The XL type like you have on your truck are about $273... each... still nuts, but great in comparison.

I'm old enough to remember when you could buy a damn fine brand new truck for $2,000... not just two tail light assemblies.

My credo
In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.

Mid 1960's.. that wasn't that long ago.

My 1965 C10 Short Bed cost $2,023 new... almost exactly the price of a set of 2021 Ranger tail lights.

Like almost 60 years ago...

In 65 dad was 8 and mom was 4... a tad before my time.
