But then I've always used Skyjacker components on my Ranger.

I looked at Skyjacker's stuff and it seems to be all strut spacers, UCA's, and lift blocks.
Camburg has some nice looking kits but they're hella expensive.
BDS ain't cheap either but you seem to get more for your money.
The Ford Performance system, which I think is made by Fox, lot of people like it, does come with whole struts with springs, price isn't terrible, 2.5" front lift, but does not come with new UCA's. My experience with the 2.5" front strut lift on my old Sport Trac with stock UCA's was that the upper ball joints would last about a year and a half. The 1.25" rear strut lift never gave me any problems.
My opinion, you don't need to get crazy with lifts unless you want 35" or larger tires because the rear is already pretty high.

I haven't done any mods to the Ranger yet, but I did mount our bikes in there so we could go ride them.

A Skyjacker 3.5-Inch Kit Will Be The Suspension Under TRS-3

I have been running the same Skyjacker Class II 6-Inch suspension kit under the TRS-2 Ford Ranger for 18-years. I contacted Skyjacker to see if we could work together to keep Skyjacker Suspension under my (new) Ranger.

I'm excited to announce that I was informed tonight that they will be sponsoring this build with one of their 3.5-inch suspension kits along with a banner to hang in the TRS Garage!

From what I've read on ghe internet Kings or Fox have the best 3.5. I'm really fond of the BDS kits as well. That being said and knowing we are not made of money. Rough Country had a pretty inexpensive 3.5 kit. I would opt for the 3.5 longer front struts for the extra travel. The kit comes with the pucks that sit on top the housing. Also if you run the 3.5 and remove crash bars people are running 35s on Facebook. I've got a 2.5 and I'm gonna try and squeeze some 305 65 r 17s on it which is a 34.2 I think. I think the wheel offset is what's limiting the 285s. They sit real close to the knuckle. I'm running 1.5 wheel spacers which I think gets me pretty close to a 0 offset. This things come with a +55 offset on the wheels so the tuck up under. Just my 2 cents and I can't wait to see the progress

I'm looking to add 285/70/17's after I give it a 3.5-inch lift. I'm not going to like how the truck is going to look with the lift and tires because I think the wheels need to be spaced out about 1.5-inches to improve its stance and appearance. I could use wheel spacers until I come up with new wheels. I don't like how the face of the wheel is so even with the sidewall of the tire. This is why I scratched the wheels so easily on the Loan Ranger. I'm thinking that a new set of wheels with different backspacing would push the wheel out farther as well as move the face of the wheel in so it's not getting scratched as easily as the stock wheel. I just need to figure out how much back spacing I need.

This also makes me realize that I'm going to have to come up with a new wheel guide for the 2019+ Ford Ranger. We have one, but it's for the 1983-2011 Ford Rangers.

I agree that the wheel setup on the new Rangers is not optimal. Hopefully you can find a spacer free solution without having to get custom wheels built.

I haven’t really looked at how common the lug pattern on the Ranger is with other trucks. Hopefully something from an F150 will work.

I have 275's on 9" wide +18 offset wheels.

The actual tread is JUST covered by the fenders, sidewall bulge sticks out.

Center Bore: 93.1 mm
Bolt Pattern: 6x139.7 (6x5.5)
Rim Width: 8Jx17 ET55 (8-inch width / 17-inch diameter / +55mm offset)
Wheel Tightening Torque: 135 Nm
Thread Size: M12 x 1.5

I read that:

"The 6x139.7 bolt pattern, also called 6x5.5", is hands down the most common truck bolt pattern in the industry. It has the most wheel options available in many sizes. The Chevy 1500 trucks have been using this pattern in their 4x4 models since 1967."

And....

"The 6 lug 6x5.5" bolt pattern is common on many vehicles such as the 6 lug Toyota 4-Runner, FJ Cruiser, Sequoia, Tacoma, and Tundra, Nissan Armada, Titan, Frontier, Pathfinder, and Xterra, GMC 1500, Sierra, Yukon, Canyon, Hummer H3, H3T, and H3X, and Chevrolet Colorado, Avalanche, 1500, Suburban, Silverado, Cadillac Escalade, Ford Ranger and brand new Ford Bronco 2021+ "

I think the biggest reasons a 6x139.7 / 6x5.5 wheel from another vehicle wouldn't fit the Ranger is because of the Rangers 93.1mm center bore.

Wheels I'm finding recommended to fit my application show a 0mm wheel offset.

I really like the looks of this RTX Offroad Zion 17x9 wheel. It has 0mm offset and a 106.1mm center bore.

I've been watching sales/rebates on wheels and tires. 4WP is clearancing a bunch of ProComp wheels recently. These are $83 right now...

Right bolt pattern but in 16 inch. Not sure what the wheel to brake clearances are like on these newer Rangers. A 17 inch wheel might be a must.

Maybe offer a bit of real estate on TRS-3 for a couple big yellow 4WP stickers as some ad space. Maybe even their own forum in the vendor section if they help shorten your shopping list.
