I was always impressed by the amount of stuff I could fit into my 2000 mustang. I could fit a mountain bike in the trunk with the lid closed, and if I folded the back seats down I could fit 8’ 2xs and 4xs with the trunk lid closed.

Yes, but could you fit a 27" tube TV, in the box?

the port hole for the trunk is actually kinda small for how big it is. So not in the rear.

I did fit a 48” Kobalt top box in the passenger seat. It was not easy getting that in there by myself.

A tube TV?!?! Man, I thought Rusty was caught in the past.
For the record, I tried to do that with my 2004 Ford Focus in 2008. The trunk opening was too small, even if the trunk might have been deep enough. The back doors wouldn't open far enough to get it into the back seat. So, we took it out of the box, and it rode home on the front passenger seat.

I have the same power train as the CMax in my Fusion Energi. It's been flawless for 60k miles. They make a standard hybrid CMax and PHEV Energi trim that can do local trips on electricity only. I think they're really decent deal. But I wouldn't buy one that I couldn't drive.

If you don't have time to do it right will you have time to do it over?
It just occurred to me that a 2013 is 9 years old, a 9 year old hybrid battery is apt to be near death and expensive to replace.

I've pretty much abandoned the Cmaxx. Now looking at a Nissan Murano or an Infinite FX35. Basically the same SUV but the Nissan has a cvt transmission and the FX35 has a regular automatic transmission.

The Murano is on the same FWD platform as the Altima, which is why it also uses the CVT transaxle that the Altima gets.

The FX35 is on the RWD platform shared with the G and Z series cars.

:)

Ok. Thanks. CarGurus said the FX is the Infinite equivalent to the Murano and this site did a good comparison of the two in the year range I am looking
In my case, both are awd

Its probably better to be self deprecating than self defecating.
Somebody went somewhat in depth about how different cvt's are set up on here not too long ago.. wish I could find it.

Some manufacturers design them better than others apparently... ford's design is somewhat bulletproof.. another manufacturer uses the same design.. but the rest of them are expected to be garbage once they get to high miles. Gah. Somebody help find that discussion lol.. I thought it was in this thread.. but mabey it was in a thread related to the Maverick

At least I think the FX is awd. Guess I gotta give it another look.

You can get an AWD version of the FX35, yes.
