Correct, just the sides.

No cracks or chips in these ones. Really wish I could find a complete or inside to one. I'd much rather have the stepwise VS standard.

Been thinking about a metal frame and trex liner with these, though.

I wouldn't mind going the same route with my F-150. No more rusty rockers.

You know, the Volvo epas pump will power hydraulics for a dump bed, Mr. Farmer.....

I have wagons for that stuff...

I have also thought about how close a flatbed off of a shortbed super duty is to fitting. The back fo the cab on 97-03 F-150's have a kind of uniquely shaped though.

In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.

They sure did some weird stuff to the styling and shape of that body style. There is a lot of taper to the width of the bed on the stepside models. I sometimes wonder if some of that styling actually hurts aerodynamics and gas mileage on my 97 F150.

Shamelessly trying out the new phone. The camera is awesome.

Had a cool sunset tonight. Photo is unedited.

Accidental discovery tonight:

Annoying as it is in snow, the traction control and advanctrac is surprisingly good on gravel and dirt. Instead of slide, you have grip.

I leaned into it to see if it was useful instead of annoying. It is. Lots of grip and bite places id be sliding around in the 88. Its no Subaru, but I can't help but wonder how it would be awd with limited slips.

Hm.

Now where did I put those factory shackles and keys....🤔

I still have the original 2011 keys if that is what you mean and you need them. I also have some more used oil for your furnace.

OK.

I effed up.

Afe cai kit for next to nothing on eBay used for a reason. Whatever. I just wanted the filter. Came with the sock. Very high quality, using with blower kit.

The aluminum tube? Yep. Makes it run like sh*t.

The 2011 4.0 maf bore checks at 66mm.

The afe maf housing is 67.8mm.

So, when first installed and adaptations cleared, it feels better than stock, guessing to running slightly lean (my ping is gone with oem reinstalled im dumb I know shut up sno)

Then your pcm adapts over a few dozen drive cycles and it just runs lean and crappy.

Then you reinstall oem, knock out the snorkel, throw the kn and n back in, and now it feels smooth and tolerable again.

Actually better now that its adjusting to the big ass fuel pump. Running a little rich won't hurt my feelings, its getting an m90 as soon as the 88 is streetable. Extra fuel never hurts.
