Actually had a bounty out. Was looking for a clean fx4 L2 from a rust free area. No luck, so wound up snagging this one in Ohio. Ugh.

Well. Ask and ye shall receive....

This 2002/m5od/4.SUCK/R7 4.10 limited slips fell into my lap out of sheer luck. Blown up 4.0.

$100 for it . Cool.

Maaaaaan I have so many parts to rob now! Definitely swapping grills, taking Westin bars, front splash guards. Taking driveshaft for the 88. May swap rear window into the 2011. Probably more.

Rear axle code is R7. With a blower in the future, not sure if I'm going to rob the 4.10s just yet. Probably just going to pull the limited slip carrier and swap it with mine. If I still don't have a satisfactory level of grunt after the blower is on, I'll drop the 4.10s in.

Its trans seems healthier than mine, so swapping that as well.

Anyone ever see a fiberglass hood like that one before? Google search doesn't turn one up. Hm.

Wish I could rob the bed for mine, but judging from underneath, it's not too healthy.

Engine will more than likely get cut apart for parts for the 2.9.

Other idea was that the frame is good.

Anyone know if a first gen cab and bed will bolt to a 2002 frame?

It’s called a power dome hood... it would look good with my step side bedsides. ;)

Oh yeah...
Just swap the 4:10s in now.

Do the 4.10's, you will not regret it, especially if you may possibly be going to a little larger tire in the future.

I think there is more to it to put that grille on your '11 than just switching grilles...

Header panel, grill, hood, etc. It’s just bolt on from 98-11.

Just the right size to touch the ground.
My '01 has that hood. It's not as light as you might expect from a fiberglass hood.

Same☝
Also, I like those wheels. Explorer limited iirc. Lmk if you decide to get rid of the grill instead of the swap. I need one bad (https://www.therangerstation.com/forums/index.php?threads/edge-grill-build.180003/). They're the first thing to go in a crash and the yard. New is like $65-70+$hipping. But I'm a cheapskate and would rather put my $$$ in a fellow forum members hands 1st.

Just the outer bed skins. Those appear to be in nice shape. Wish i had room to store some spares.
