Some of the guys who ordered early are just now picking up their GT's. Can't wait to visit one up close. They're rated at 412 HP but have tested out at 385-395 RWHP(Motor Trend and another mag). Forget the 1/4 mile times but it's right up there, not far behind the GT-500. Swap out the 3.31's for some 3.73's, sticky tires and bam!
Dave
My brother ordered his in February and they just set the build date yesterday, May 17th. It will take a little longer than average because it has to do down a second line to get scoops, spoiler and decklid. 3.73's are a factory option and he got them. Dunno what they will be like, but when you get a manual with the Brembo package you get summer only Perelli (spelling??) tires.
He should get it early to mid June, by the time they ship it down to Kansas City and truck it back up here.
The 2010/11 is the best looking Mustang since the 60's IMO, nothing between comes remotely close. They had one at a car show up in Omaha, and I couldn't tell a difference on the outside aside from the "5.0" badge replacing the "GT" badge vs the 2010 sitting beside it.
Personally I think they released the stats on the '11's too soon and are finding it hard to find homes for the 2010's because people are waiting for 100 more hp.
Here is a really cool vid about the new 5.0, my brother's will look like the car in the movie except it will have a hoodscoop, side scoops, rear quarter louvers and a spoiler. Same color (race red) and and dark grey rims.

GT's were on hold until the April 26th. I didn't know they had been released until I found this trying to refind the brochure.

If you can't tell, I am about as excited about it as he is. If we didn't get snow I might say heck to hauling my tractors around and trade in the F-150. Black with the dark grey Brembo package wheels looks freakingly freaking sweet. I have not interest at the moment of owning and maintaining three vehicles. I can barely find enough holes to poke everybody in now when we a bad thunderstorm comes thru...
