Well since the 2010 Ranger has rear disc brakes, I was wondering if it would be possible to get all of the parts from a 2010 Ranger and assemble them onto an axle with drum brakes? Has anyone done this? Is is possible?

sure, it's possible. and like topher said, look in the tech library for swap info.

my question is why not just swap the whole axle in? it'd be a lot easier labor, it's a direct bolt-in swap from ranger to ranger, you'd just have to run the brake lines and what not. plus who wouldn't want a lower mileage drive axle?
