My credo
"220, 221, whatever it takes."
Rust in the lower rear cab corners. The third brake light can leak, water runs around the window inside the cab, lays in the corners, and causes rust.
V8 models can get cracked exhaust manifolds.
Check the HVAC controls for the temperature to change and air to come out in all positions. The blend door actuators can go bad with age, not a big deal to replace.
Otherwise they're pretty much tanks. Change all the fluids and filters and drive on.
On 07's the release for the front storage compartment in the bed is under the driver's side bed rail, which is different from 08-10 which have a simple knob on the lid.
I owned an 08 Sport Trac until three weeks ago.

Well I find out it is an '08 Limited with 152,000 on the clock. Not real sure I want that level of mileage.

My credo
I poop in the furnace.
Make sure the spark plugs have been replaced...

For an 08 150k is kinda normal mileage.

Sure will. Price may be around $8,900. Seems like a good deal. Sounds like the original owner was kinda anal when it came to maintenance.

Doing things wrong, until I get it right.
I loved my 08 ST. Had the v6 bit hauled and handled well. Traded ot because I couldn't get the tranmission fixed cheap enough.

The '08 I just traded in had 212,000 miles on it. If it looks well-cared for I wouldn't worry about it. First thing to do is change ALL the fluids and filters, oil, coolant, trans, t-case and front axle if 4x4, rear axle, brake, power steering, blinker fluid, everything.
