A little back story: i took my truck in for the 'airbag inflater recall' and when i got my truck back it only blows max heat no matter the temp control dial. The fan speed works great. The stealership that did the airbag recall wanted to charge me to fix it so here i am coming to you guys/gals for help. Yes this happened a couple years ago. I'm a professional procrastinator. I'm thinking the tech must have just bumped something. I checked all the wires and vacuum hoses and don't see anything out of place. Any help is appreciated.

My credo
Lead follow or get out of my way
These Rangers circulate coolant all the time through the core... temp is controlled with the blend door.

So I'm with bobby... the blend door is stuck... wiring or the actuator is kaput.

When i removed the glovebox while installing my new stereo i tried to move it and it seemed pretty solid. Can i assume the motor is the thing on the right that has a long piece connecting it to the blend door?

It seems to be vacuum actuated. Opens when the truck is turned off, as soon as i start the truck it closes
