So last night (during the rain of course) we noticed the passenger headlight flickering on and off on our pacifica. I went out and checked the basics and cleaned the headlight harness plug with electrical cleaner but it was still doing it. It was just the amber colored parking light on the passenger headlight that was flickering off and on. So I swapped the bulb thinking the bulb may be acting up and it's still doing it. I ended up leaving the negative off the battery for an hour and it hasn't turned back on since but just wondering what else I can check. I popped the fuse panel open under the hood but there wasn't a relay or fuse for the headlight and I didn't bother checking the manual. I am leaning toward the headlight switch is starting to fail but then again why would it ONLY affect the passenger parking light and not both head lights? Is there any way to test the headlight switch other than a basic voltmeter check? BTW I never heard any clicking sounds, the problem persisted even with the car running and headlights off, it was raining but the harnesses were dry..... Not sure of anything else that may be important at this time. Any thoughts?
