Hey everyone, I have a 2005 Ford Ranger 4 cyc, it has 160,000 mile on it. About 1 year ago a friend and I put a new used transmission in it. Yesterday I got in to drive it and reverse doesn’t work, popped it into drive and that doesn’t work either. Put it into 1st and it starts going so then I put it back up into reverse and it works just fine. Then I put it back to drive and it works fine again. It’s like it will only work if you go to first and then pick which gear you want. Any suggestions? Thank you

My credo
If it ain't broke, break it.
Does it have enough fluid in it?
