The center lights which show TEMP and FUEL are out. I took apart the cluster and removed the bulbs and they are ok. I put them back in and then half of the Speedo went dim. I removed the Speedo bulb and it looked ok. I put the bulb back in and the entire Speedo went dim. The TEMP and FUEL lights suddenly turned on.
So I took out the entire cluster and removed the board and cleaned up all of the contacts to make sure they were clean. All bulbs looked okay.
I then put the cluster back in and tested again. I turned on the hazard lights and the left signal quit working. A second later it came back on. I checked the bulbs and they are tight.
The Speedo is fully lit now and the TEMP and FUEL are out again.
The Bright indicator stopped working and so I wiggled that bulb around but to no avail.
I think the board is shorting somewhere and may need replacement.

The question is : When I replace the cluster, what about the Odometer?

Thanks for reading

My credo
What's the worst that could happen?
A shot in the dark here, but have you checked the ground wire(s)?
There is one from the firewall to the back of the engine head on the driver's side that is for cab electrical. Bad grounds cause weird stuff to happen.
.
Again, shot in the dark but an easy check.
