Hello,

i’m looking to replace the 60/40 front seats in my 1997 Ranger with 60/40 seats from a 2003 Ranger. Does anyone know if this is a direct bolt in swap or do I need modify the mounting locations, etc. Any help is appreciated. 🇺🇲

Been a while, but thought I'd respond. I have a pair of '98's that I use as donor vehicles for my '03. All super cabs. Seats swap just fine. Only problem I found was when installing into my '03, the track from the '98 wanted to pull together a bit on the back. Had to put the seat all the way beck before giving the bolt that last little turn. The seat belt bolts were different. The '03 had a shoulder nut. I just cut the shoulder off and put the seat belt stuff right in place.
