Hello folks herds my problem I just bought the clutch replacement kit. Its a SELF ADJUSTING CLUTCH
HOWEVER. I'm a bit confused because the first thing I pull out is
IMPORTANT CLUTCH ADJUSTMENT INFORMATION
Now if Thats not an oxymoron ( not as good as I ALWAYS DO THAT SOMETIMES) listen close you hear it more than you know.
Anywaybutt can you see where I'm a bit confused. Let me say that the springs on the new one they are all in the set position and so is the plastic nylon-SPRING RETAINER. AND THE PICTURE THAT IS ON INFO SHEET showed them just like the new one HOWEVER if I went to reset that there is no place for the springs to go because they are already where they need to is so is the RETAINER.
Also the DIAPHRAGM springs are above the pressure plate she'll. As much as maybe a 1/2 inch.
I really hope you can clear this up for me.
Thanks and I'm looking forward to using this site more in the future.
So what do you think??

I put in a NAPA self adjusting clutch, and didn't adjust it. that was about 6 years and 170,000 miles ago.
this is a recently purchased 2002, not the best angle but gives you an idea of where the bolts are.
