Hey ya'll, so a few months ago my upper radiator hose blew up and cracked my radiator. The truck ended up sitting for 10 months and recently I have replaced the hose and the radiator. Now the truck seems to have a low pitched whistle nose or whoosing nose. I felt no pressure in the upper hose but it was hot to the touch as well as the heater core lines. The temp guage does show the block building temperture, however is seems to be taking it a while to warm up. Im more worried about the nose instead of the pressure. Any ideas? Thank you everyone thats on this site.

You did burp the system when you got it going again? When it's cold, take the radiator cap off, then start it and let it run till the upper radiator hose is hot. It may overflow coolant till it gets the air out of it.

Or if you pull the cap, you may find it low on coolant, where it has already burped itself and now it needs more coolant. When it is all said and done, make sure your overflow bottle is working and fill it up about half-way, and make sure the radiator is full to the top.

any parts places nearby that rent/loan tools?
get a radiator pressure tester and pump it up, listen/look for leaks while the engine is not running.

it's hard to diagnose noises online, try getting a hose and play doctor.
move it around, should be able to narrow it down to an area if not exactly.
