Is it possible to remove power steering pulley from truck without taking out the entire pump? There's a little play in the pulley and i think thats whats causing my engine vibration

In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.

If you really have excessive play there, its bad bearings. Replace the pump. That pulley is very, very firmly attached to it’s shaft.

The pump isn't bad. There is no turning or steering wheel issues. Just a pulley that you can hear smack metal at 2-2500 rpm

Yes, the puller is usually available as a loaner at the parts store. I would think the pump is bad.

That end play should nor be causing a noise like something smacking on metal. The belt is under enough tension and moving fast enough that it should keep the pulley aligned where it needs to be. I would be looking for other problems. Check the tensioner and idler pulleys for play.

Do you have air conditioning? It could be the A/C pulley or clutch making noise. Maybe you could post a video (post to YouTube and just put the link here) so we can hear what's going on.
