Hello! I'm Steve from Kansas City, MO. I just bought a 2000 Ranger for my 15-1/2 year old son. The truck supposedly had hit a deer and there was some front end damage. After dismantling the truck I'm guessing it was more than a deer. Either way we have decided to put a 2002 front end on the truck because he like the looks better. Can't wait to see all of your projects and share the progress of this one. Here's a pic of the kid and most of his truck :)

I don't count birthday's anymore...just happy to be looking down at the ground instead of looking up
Welcome. Nice truck for a father/son project.
Glad too see a younger gen person who's not afraid to get his hands dirty. Sure beats "thumb action" playing video games.
Suggest you get a copy of LMC Truck Parts Ranger Catalog, free. Also online. Not saying you should get your parts there, but it does have schematics of the front end components showing the differences from year to year, and what you need to look for at salvage yards. Helps to know all the bit's and pieces you need.

Thanks! Will do. I just located a set of doors with power windows and power locks. Considering trying to upgrade his. Hoping the wiring is already in the kick panels for all of that, I guess we will see!
