I am thinking about running a P@P 2.5 head on my 2.3(1996). I am wondering if I can run a performance cam for a 2.3 in the 2.5 head?
Also, if I can run the cam what all do I need to change?

Thanks for your help!!
Good to be back!

I *think* the 2.5L head has bigger chambers which will lower your compression, which will completely undo any gains you'll see from the P&P job - Unless you plan on turbocharging then you want lower compression (but you want forged dished pistons to do that, not bigger chambers). I'm also pretty sure the cams would switch over fine (I'm a little rusty on 2.5L specifics).

I would P&P a 2.3 head if I were you.
