Hi there all!
John here, new to the forum and automotives in general. I've been in love with all things on wheels for as long as I can remember. BUT this project truck is killing that love, so sitting at rock bottom, I've turned to this forum!
Anyways onto the good stuff... So two months ago I purchased a 1991 Ford Ranger XLT 4x4 2.9L V6 5 Speed. To be completely transparent this was my first truck purchase and in hindsight it was a bad purchase. It had been stolen and then towed by a tow yard. I bought it for 800 bucks, no questions asked.
Here's my problem, I drove it home and it ran fine! The trans was smooth and the engine was strong. The next day I had a crank no start. It's been an incredibly discouraging last few months as I'm still unable to figure out what is wrong. If this post gets any replies I'll start detailing the work I've done. Here's to my journey, I'm at a low, but I'm trusting the process.
Thanks
John
