I'm new to the forum. Here's my 3.0l 1998 Ford ranger. My first vehicle. I bought it with ~167,000 miles a few years ago. I'm at 187,000 now. Been running ok other than I had to have the head gasket and the valves replaced, the mechanic said he thought it had been over heated a few times before I owned it... I had the mechanic replace some other things while he was in there. He put in a higher flow water pump which keeps her running cooler which is nice. I also put an Aries grille guard on it. Also I put a strip of bed liner on each side as I was getting some rust under the door etc. Also been thinking about getting some running boards just to spruce her up a bit.
