Hello all,

I am doing a light restoration on a 2000 Ranger regular cab Trailhead w/short bed.

As purchased, it did not have a bed liner.

I have a line on a new Ford bed liner, F77Z-9900038-FA

Seller can only confirm it will fit 2004 - 2009.

My Ford dealer tells me that it should fit.

My understanding is that the beds from 1998 - 2009 (or later) were all essentially the same.

So.. question..

Is anyone aware of why a factory drop in bed liner that fits an 2004 will NOT fit a 2000?

Many thanks in advance!

Other than bolt configuration the holds down the bed, nothing has changed. So it will fit your bed as long as the bed style is the same.

The bedliner that I removed from my truck is supposed to fit '93 to '11 Rangers. Rugged Liner not Ford but it shouldn't matter.

×2, The bed & tailgate should be the same from 1993-2011 for fitting a drop-in style bedliner.

Hey folks - thanks for the responses!!

Next question - are there any differences in tie down locations from say 1998 to say 2004?

Thanks again all.. so I have to say I am all smiles at the moment.

My local Ford parts guy worked some magic with Ford Service.

New, from Ford, in the Ford box, drop in bed liner for my 2000 Ranger, delivered... $300.

I know there are some aftermarket ones available, but OEM Ford for $300 delivered, I am a happy camper!
