Two questions .....
1) How do you remove the black floor console that lives on the transmission hump on a '96? I'm guessing there are screws in the center of the cup holders under the thin rubber liners at the bottom of the cup holders but I don't know.
2) My air bag system rcm ("brain") has "failed" and I suspect that its under there but don't know. Does anyone know for sure that the rcm is under there? I spilled a cup of coffee on the console and about a week later I started getting and airbag code of 24. I'm going to try cleaning the contacts if Its under there and if I can get the console off.
