This has been my daily driver for over 15 years. Have always had the oil changed when needed but if something was broke and wasn't real important, it was never fixed properly. Note the Electric tape on the taillight. AC, stereo, are just some of the things that have not worked for years. The truck always started and got me to work. Had to replace a water pump, went through a few batteries and a few sets of tires.
The front is going to take a little work. Had some minor damage done a couple of years ago that needs fixing. Stop n go traffic on 35, my bumper went under a 70's chevy truck bumper and the lights took most of the hit. Hood still opened and closed and all the lights still works, so I didn't fix it.
Well, I started fixing the truck up this year. Didn't take any pictures really of what I was doing but so far I replaced; tailgate hinge bed inserts, door jam switch's, door light switch, rear view mirror, driver side outer door handle, odometer, radio, front speakers, rear speakers, new bulbs for everything inside and backside of truck, new 3rd taillight, left brake light and a right back up light. Found several parts at the junkyard for front end fix; header panel, header panel air flow, header panel bracket (2), hood latch assembly and the hood latch assembly bracket. All I need is a bright red hood. The motor still runs great but will swap for a 5.0 Explorer engine. Its a 2 year plan.
