I have a 1995 ranger with the 2.3l and manual transmission. I bought it knowing it had a miss. I have changed the plugs, wires, coil pack, checked cam timing. This is a hard misfire not like a random stumble. any advice on where to look next would be awesome.

Yes, +1 ^^^

Coloring on old spark plugs should have told you which cylinder was misfiring
