Hello,
I have a 1994 Ford Ranger XLT 4.0. I want to remove the lower valance and keep it off but I am wondering how it would look without it? Does the valance cover anything that would make it look worse without it? I mostly want to do this because after getting my new wheels and tires, they rub on the lower valance along with the fog lights being broken.

Also, does anyone have any ideas of how to remove the rear bumper and make it look nice? I saw this picture one Reddit and I really like how it looks with no rear bumper.

I actually like the looks of the fog light on those trucks, Personally I would trim the valance and replace the lights.

If you do decide to remove it and the fog light brackets... don't throw the brackets away. Seems the is usually someone that wants a set of those.

Thanks! Is it hard to remove the brackets? I may try it out and see how it looks after and decide if I want to keep it that way or not. I plan on mounting a light bar and front box lights which is another reason I am considering removing it

In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.

I believe what you are talking about is called a "rolled pan" or something like that. I think I saw a thread here about a week ago, where someone was doing that. Keep searching our forum. You'll find it.

Also, I'm pretty sure the truck you pictured has aftermarket bulged fenders usually used with wider wheels and tires and long travel pre-runner style suspension setups.

I didn't even click on your picture you posted.

It does have Pre Runner fenders and bed sides... looks really good.

@19Walt93 has a roll pan for sale if you're interested.

Make an offer, I'm not going to use it.
Is it made to fit a 94 ranger? Or would fabrication be needed? I have no fabrication experience… and do you have a pic you could attach of it?

It's made for a 93-11 Ranger styleside and shouldn't need any fabrication. I'll slide it out of the box and take a picture.

I flipped it over so you can see the mounting holes, too. It's at least as thick as the body sheet metal, probably thicker.
I've got some clear front parking light lenses and a custom grill for a 93-7 too if you're interested.

I used the headlights because the originals were cloudy.
