Unless you can get a later model dash to work, you are probably going to have to go custom.

My credo
Lead follow or get out of my way
Maybe slow down?

Leave a few minutes earlier?

Smell some flowers along the way?

My truck has 55mph circled because that was the national speed limit when it was designed/built. Yours too.

So fun fact, she ain't designed to run 90...

Make a panel and hit autometer's website if you must.

The speed limit was no longer 55 in 1994. I think it was '88 when they did away with that nonsense.

It didn't fully die until' 95.

A '97 Ranger basically has the same suspension as a' 83...

Use a speedometer out of a Canadian truck. They go up to 180.

Unless the OP has modified the truck, they have a governor in them anyway. I can’t remember if they are set at 92 or 95 mph. If you are hitting the governor, you are at that speed.

There isn’t many places you can legally go that fast. Not to mention that it isn’t safe for multiple reasons beyond the truck was never designed to go that fast.

My credo
In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.

But those are 180 “funny miles” per hour. You have to do some kind of complicated math to figure out your real speed.
