I recently purchased a no start 1994 Ford Ranger 4.0L V6 automatic that has a crank but no start problem. Currently the engine will crank and the fuel pump primes and I have pressure at the fuel rail but I have no spark or injector signal. I have attempted to retrieve codes but all I'm getting is the 111 "system check all good" code from the computer so I don't know if the computer is still suspect or not. The previous owner suspected the main and ignition computers and replaced both however I found that the replacement main computer had blown out capacitors. I went a head and replaced the capacitors and pulled the main wiring harness out to check continuity and everything looked good. I also replaced the relays since it was mishmash of different brands and not all seemed to work. At this point I'm not sure what the next best option is for me to try especially since my local parts store only offers computers without programming and no where local has the programing equipment. Plus I'm not even entirely sure if the main computer I have is the correct one.
Main Computer serial number: F47F-12A650-ANB
Thanks,
