Do you guys know if I can switch out the automatic to m5od without shortening or lengthing the driveshafts and maybe what I would need to get it done. I know about Trans, clutch, flywheel, transfer case, new pedal assembly, and clutch master cylinder. What else may I need to get this swap done has anyone done this ?

Doesn't seem to be much to it if you have all the parts. Wherever you get the transmission and all the other parts, I would grab the rear driveshaft if the donor truck was the same wheelbase as yours to make sure the rear shaft would fit. You might want to grab the front shaft also. Here's a article where they are going from a automatic to a 5 speed. It's a different brand 5 speed than what you are going to do, but that should not matter.

The worst part to me was switching the pedal assembly out! Time consuming project, especially if you’ve never done it before. Tranny and the rest is cake!

Easy swap. Been done many times. No driveshaft modifications necessary. I agree about the pedals - however - there is just enough room under there to remove the pivot rod and swap just the pedals themselves and not the entire assembly. It is just a hair easier than removing the dash.

Agree 100% on that! That’s the hardest part of it IMO! Transmission part like I said earlier in this thread “it’s cake work”!
