Will the 93 ecm run the 94 engine?
Yes. The main difference is 94 will have a cam sensor and EGR, 93 could have any or all of those or none, 92 and older has none. 93 Ranger is safe, 93 Explorer is less safe.

FYI I put a 94 Explorer engine that had both into a 93 Ranger that came with neither and it worked perfectly.

Not sure on that, I don't know why you'd want to? It is kind of a valuable tool to determine air/fuel ratios even with a custom tune.

10-4 was asking because I’ll have to weld in some pieces to screw in the 02 sensors with the new headers. There’s no provisions for O2 sensors. Was just wondering. Thanks

Oh, gotcha. You can get weld in bungs from most of the parts stores, that's what I would do. Actually that's what I did do for my V8 swap, IIRC the O2 sensors were in the Crown Vic manifolds I had that didn't fit my frame so I ended up using 70's 302 truck manifolds instead. I put the bungs in the Y pipe, worked great.

Putting the new wiring in from the 94 Ford explore to the 88 ranger and I’m wondering do I need to take the abs brake stuff out of the explorer as well to put in the ranger or can I bypass all that ?

You can bypass all that junk. Brake light might come on or it might not or the ABS light might come on. I would just pull the bulb.......................
