I am a new member, and have read the forum rules. I am traveling 3,000 miles to daytona, FL in two days, and i need to fix my tranny tonight! i put a complete "clutch kit" in the truck about two weeks ago.. over the past two days, it has suddenly started grinding almost every gear, and popping out of gear. the tranny is topped off with fluid, and the slave cylender is full. The truck drives perfect for the first 10 minutes, and the second it starts warming up it will barely shift. I read alot of other articles, but cannot find anything about a 4.0 4wd tranny swap for a 94 mazda b4000?

Does anybody know what year trannys i can drop in this without any modifications? I realize it would have to also be a 4.0 4wd. I am attempting to find a transmission within the next hour or two to start working on this, which i am THINKING is the problem?? hoping i dont have cancel my vacation. Thank you for your time

junkyard's normally have a pretty good crossrefrence sheet. however is it possiable you have air in you clutch master? I had similar problem with my truck and that was my issue.try parking on a steep hill with the nose pointed high and pump the snot outta your clutch if there is any air in the master it should work it's way into the reservoir. when i say steep talkin 45 degree incline.

BTW this shoulda prolly went in the transmission thread

Yes it sounds like air in the clutch line. Try bleeding it before you do anything else.
