I finally got the headliner fabric in the mail and redid mine in a couple hours, start to finish. Really simple and easy, and i think it turned out well for my first time. Only broke two plastic tabs, which is pretty good for them being 27 years old.
I also had my visors professionally redone locally for $50 from a guy who's done custom hot rod and classic car upholstery for years. He did good work.
While i had my headliner out, i installed the double cam system. I routed the power cable and rear cam wire on the ceiling for a cleaner look. I made a quick metal bracket for the rear cam so it can mount on my license plate. It's a fun toy with tons of features. I leave the thing recording when i'm driving in case i catch anything meaningful.
Since this cam system requires power and I didn't want the plug to stick out of my one and only 12V port all the time, i got an additional power station to not only power the cams, but as an additional source to power anything via usb (2 port, 2.1A each). I went with this one because it came with a switch so i can power everything on at my discretion, and it lights up green to match my night lights. I made a bracket for it, leaving a slight angle on either side to match the angle of my dash. It works well and it fits the space nicely.
I went to the junkyard over the weekend i got the power door harnesses because i want to convert my manual ones. Still need to buy the lock actuators and window regulators/motors before i do the conversion. I'm also still in the market for an exhaust system before i install my borla headers. I might just do a custom true duel setup.
