I just bought a 1993 Ranger XLT 2WD with 215,000k. I'm told it needs some front end work, and I'm wondering if it would be good to replace or update the coil springs leaf springs while I'm at it. Is there a ready way to see if the springs are still up to spec, and if replacement is warranted, is it possible (or cost effective) to boost the load capacity or at least improve the ride a bit?
