1991 ford ranger

I just bought a 1991 Ford ranger, most sensors have been replaced along with spark plugs and wires, it wont go above 3 grand in rpms, ive tried everything and need help

If your in park or neutral I think there is a limiter in effect. Try it in drive.

It doesn't matter if it's in 1st gear or 2nd, and I'm noticing when I push the pedal down all the way I lose power and the motor bogs down

Have you check the fuel pressure? It should be 30 to 40 psi. You can check the fuel pressure regulator for a busted diaphragm by pulling the vacuum hose and smelling for gas fumes or liquid. If so then replace it. Also wouldn't hurt to replace the fuel filter.

I do know the fuel filter is brand new, doesn't seem clogged and I haven't checked the fuel pressure regulator will do that tomorrow thank you for your help will be updating,

Hmmm, long shot...have you checked the air filter housing for a mouse nest?

Air filter is clean, got a brand new one in it, I am getting a code for my maf sensor tho, don't know if that will fix it but I'm gonna replace it when I get paid

Changed maf sensor and cleaned out injectors with injector cleaner I have no change and no check engine light I'm out of ideas
