1990 ranger xlt fuel leaking

Hey so my ranger is leaking fuel when its almost full by time the nozzle clicks off there's alot of fuel on the ground any ideas on what it might be?

Chances are you have a filler hose leak.

Get under it and have a look. Unless it super clean you will see a trail where the fuel is coming from.

Is it under the truck or all over the bedside?

If its under the truck then yes filler neck, if its all over the bedside find a different gas station or try only setting the nozzle holder on its second setting.
