As the title indicates I have a 1987 Ranger XLT 4x4 2.9L with Touch-Drive. Came with an auto transmission that kicked the bucket. Started a manual swap and lost interest. Truck was sitting in the woods for the last several years Considering selling as a whole or for parts. It was running when I parked it. I took the seats out to clean them so I do still have them. Mice ruined the carpet so I removed it. Have brand new carpet to go in it. Typical dash crack, headliner is sagging. The only rust on the truck is in the pictures, everything else is really solid. Was my daily driver until I joined the Army and couldn't take it with me.
PRICE: Whole vehicle price is $400, will need to be towed, I do not offer towing.

@ClarkI forum rules require a price.

Sorry to see you're giving up on it, that is a great start to a project.

Life changes, joined the Army, got married have two kids. I'd rather see it go to someone that can appreciate it the way I would want to than send it to the scrap yard.

You said you started a manual swap. Do you have a 5 speed transmission for it? If so what year and kind? Flywheel and clutch pieces also?

Any chance you would want to sell just the tailgate panels?

Is the title in your name? If so, I would be interesting in buying the whole truck to resto mod it and drive it.

Don't wait till it's broken to fix things
I would absolutely love to have this. But I wouldn't be able to get any project Vehicles until after April 1st. And that's assuming I could have the project done and the car in driving condition by september. Darn, it was just posted a four or five months too early for me. I absolutely love this body style and I'm having trouble locating one at all let alone running or not. By the way thank you for your service, my dad was a 30-year veteran of the US navy. I remember fondly spending Summers down in Virginia Beach.
