Got a link to these gorilla war flares? I see them for old broncos but the ranger?
Yeah the Captain America cup coasters rock. He’s always been my favourite since I was a kid and now I own a damn comic book store for the last 22 years so he gets a spot on this truck.

Progress and comparison photo of the console. Tomorrow I will sand and smooth out the special epoxy I used. Should be finished and installed tomorrow. 👍🏻

i just hacked out my fenders and rolled them.... but my truck was not as nice as yours when i bought it in 92...let alone by the time i was ready to run 38 in and larger tires...

i installed a bunch of bushwhackers for others....jeeps fullsize trucks rangers ect....not real impressed with them.

with that, i am in fact thinking of running war flares when i re hash the truck. i am torn between scrapping it and building a modern ranger. looking at what you have done here i am going to have to make more considerations...

bushwhacker was the go to in the 80s and 90s. then i started seeing a different look that was the early style bronco flares in the early 90s that i assumed were bushwhackers but a totally different look i realized what they were when i got close to a truck i seen with them.

in your case. not sure if you want to run such large tires so....maybe they are not the way to go.

just putting it out there as this thing is pretty well done and its a fair potential.

Yeah I’m only running the 31s you see on there now. It’s only a 4” lift and I may run chains in the winter for more traction in the snow. Bigger tires may give me more clearance but also rob power. It’s a trade off and a happy balance we all need to find.

Got the console finished. Also installed the plastic box liner after cutting it down to fit the track system I made. Way easier washing deer blood out of that than the Herculiner. 😜
Installed some under hood lights and wired them up. Wired up the ditch lights. Going to add a light to the console so I can see my shit in the back of the cab. Hopefully button up the interior for the last time tomorrow. Made a windshield appointment for Sept 9th. Coming together but it’s fighting me. Still have to hook up the lights on the headache rack, the backup lights and tighten up the suspension before I head to the alignment shop.

I know I am off topic, and I am by no means trying to hijack your thread, But does anyone know what the differences are in the 1998-2006 and the 2007-2011 floor pans, I have a 1999 that is rotted out, I can find a 07-11 pan, but don't know the difference

Yeah, you should have asked this in the general discussions but since you are here. The cab got extended on the regular cabs in 1998. I don't think anything changed after that and I don't think anything changed on the extended cab models as far as the floor goes.

Got the tool box mounted. Console mounted up. Seats bolted in. Sill and threshold plates installed. Door panels back on. Nothing crazy today.
