hey everybody, I know there is a whole bunch of threads about this but I haven't been able to really find the answers I'm looking for. anyways I have a 1987 ranger ext cab 4x4 with the 2.9l auto setup. I picked up a 93 ranger with the 4.0 set up and completely took everything off the truck and scrapped it, I have all the wiring , dash , computer etc. the reason I'm posting this thread is to figure out what way I can go with to keep the 87 dash, its in mint condition and everything works unlike the 93 dash which is pretty much wrecked. I really like this truck and the way it setup up and would love to have it under the knife with as minimal amount of rigging as possible. what has to be done to keep the original dash in this truck and have that 4.0 purring. any fuel related help would be greatly appreciated too. All help is welcomed and if there is any more information anybody could use to help me please let me know.

it is easier to fix and understand than "her"
Use your sending units from the 87 to keep your gauging.

Make the 4.0 stand alone. Interface what you want to use.

Just the right size to touch the ground.
If you tap the user name it will pop up a little box with more info.

OT: @Jim Oaks what happened to the insert photo icon? It used to allow you to browse our drag and drop, now it's asking for a link.

IDK about 93 harness, but the 91 I used had everything going to the interior the same color. Of course I just hooked up power. Left the factory wiring for the fuel pump and sender, lights, etc. Only thing that took some thinking was my neutral switch. Found out it was bad (fell of the transmission when I tried to check the wiring).
